Himalayas - Part 2
I made my way down to Birgunj, a small city 14 hours south
of Kathmandu by Land Rover through the treacherous mountains between
the capital and the India Border.
Our Sansar run a children's home with the aim to get kids off the
streets and back in to a stable safe environment then back in to
education. The city has a huge land fill site along the border
stretching for kilometers in every direction street children scavenge
the dump for materials to sell to the reclamation yards.
We traveled out on to the waste to meet some of the children that Our Sansar hope to get in to the children's home and away from the dangerous situation on the street.
